About The Forum Channel

Welcome to The Forum Channel! We hope that you enjoy our one-of-a-kind video content, which features unlikely combinations of celebrities and experts talking live and unscripted about topics that range from the serious to the ridiculous. The site offers hundreds of clips as well as full Forum conversations, and you can also search by dozens of panelists.

The more you explore, the more you will be surprised by what you discover. You will laugh out loud. You will be moved. You will want more.

The videos you will find here are not from a speaker or lecture series, or an industry event or professional conference. At The Forum Channel there are no speeches or prepared remarks, no highly produced slick presentations - only real, spontaneous and open conversations. We bring a varied assortment of fascinating people together to talk, laugh, listen and learn from one another. Think of these as the greatest dinner conversations imaginable, and you are part of it.

The Forum Channel is more than just great video. It’s a convening of questioning minds, where anyone who is curious about the intellectual, cultural and social world around us can reexamine their surroundings, entertain their spirits, challenge their beliefs, and develop thoughtful, informed opinions. Be prepared to uncover new personalities and experts in various fields, and get ready to witness the celebrities you thought you knew saying things you never expected.

All of the conversations featured here were filmed in front of a live audience of more than 2,600 people in Hartford, Connecticut. Each one took place as part of The Connecticut Forum, a non-profit organization that has presented four live Forum conversations every year for nearly two decades. Through the years, thousands of audience members have marveled at the conversations that they have seen live, and have encouraged us to share these with the world. When we started putting clips on YouTube, we quickly reached three million views, with those viewers clamoring for more. So, we open up our archives to you – we hope that you enjoy, listen, learn and think.
